Online consultations

Continuity, without the journey.

Telemedicine provides a convenient way to speak with a Remedine doctor when attending the clinic is difficult, unnecessary or impractical. It may be suitable for both new and existing patients, depending on the medical concern and whether a physical examination is required.

We regularly use telemedicine for follow-up consultations, medication reviews and health-screening results discussions — including for travellers who are overseas or transiting through another destination.

Suitable uses

What an online consultation can cover.

  • Follow-up after clinic, home or online care
  • Health-screening and blood-test results reviews
  • Stable chronic-condition follow-up
  • Medication review and appropriate prescription renewal
  • Medically supervised weight-management follow-up
  • Selected new non-emergency concerns
  • Authorised family and carer discussions

Safety boundary

Suitability is assessed individually. The doctor may recommend a clinic appointment, home visit, laboratory test or hospital assessment if examination or investigation is required. Telemedicine is not an emergency service.

Results review

Completed your screening but already travelling?

A telemedicine appointment can be arranged to discuss significant findings, understand what they mean and plan appropriate follow-up. This is particularly useful for travellers who completed their screening before departure and are now overseas or in transit.

How it works

Four steps to an online consultation.

  1. Message us

WhatsApp your name, current location, reason for consultation and preferred time.

  2. We confirm

The team confirms suitability, the RM60 fee and the joining details.

  3. Speak with the doctor

The doctor confirms identity, reviews the concern and explains relevant limits of online care.

  4. Care and next steps

Advice, prescriptions, investigation requests or follow-up are provided where clinically appropriate; in-person assessment may still be required.

Prescriptions

Prescriptions and medication.

Where clinically appropriate, the doctor may issue a prescription. Medication delivery may be arranged through a pharmacy near the patient’s current location, subject to availability and delivery coverage. Medication and delivery charges are separate from the RM60 consultation fee. Not every consultation will result in a prescription.
