Continuity and scope

Connected care through pregnancy and after delivery.

Pregnancy care may involve several healthcare professionals. Remedine provides a consistent primary-care point for routine antenatal reviews and selected ultrasound scans, while coordinating with the patient’s obstetrician, maternity hospital and other specialists when needed.

After delivery, postnatal and newborn appointments can continue at the same clinic, helping important information remain connected as the family’s needs change.

Antenatal packages are intended for suitable routine care. Individual plans may need adjustment according to the mother’s health, pregnancy risk, scan findings and existing obstetric plan.

Trimester packages

Care organised around each stage of pregnancy.

Choose the trimester you are currently in, or contact us if you are unsure where to begin. The doctor will review gestation, medical history, existing records and current obstetric plan before confirming what is appropriate.

When to seek urgent maternity care

Antenatal packages and clinic scans are not an emergency maternity service. Seek urgent hospital assessment for heavy bleeding, severe or persistent abdominal pain, fluid leakage, significant breathing difficulty, seizures, severe headache with visual symptoms, markedly reduced fetal movement later in pregnancy, preterm painful contractions or another serious concern.

Individual scans and limitations

What an ultrasound can — and cannot — tell you.

Ultrasound provides information about pregnancy location, viability, gestational age, fetal growth, anatomy and position depending on the stage and purpose of the scan. No ultrasound can guarantee that a baby has no chromosomal, structural, developmental or other medical condition. Further testing or specialist assessment may sometimes be recommended.

  • Early pregnancy viability and dating scan
  • Nuchal translucency assessment
  • Mid-trimester fetal anatomy scan — only if confirmed within scope
  • Fetal growth scan
  • Fetal position and presentation scan
  • Optional 3D/4D images during a clinically indicated scan

Common questions

Before you book a scan.

Can I book one scan without a package?
Yes, where an individual scan is suitable. Send estimated gestation and the reason for the scan.
Do I still need an obstetrician?
Remedine provides primary-care antenatal support and selected scans. Specialist or hospital maternity follow-up may still be required.
Is an NT scan diagnostic?
No. It is a screening assessment and may lead to further screening or specialist review.
What should I bring?
Antenatal record, previous scan reports, blood-test results, medicines and hospital or specialist letters.
What happens if the scan identifies a concern?
The doctor will explain the finding and arrange repeat imaging, investigation or specialist referral as appropriate.
